ANVESHI FOUNDATION
What We Do
LIBRARY
Our mission is to encourage literacy and the love of reading amongst elderly individuals and children through library promotion. Libraries should be expanded to schools and colleges, and new libraries should be established where found necessary. In addition, we plan to offer incentives and consolation prizes to students who show a commitment to reading. If there is a need, we also advocate for new libraries to be established in rural areas.
SPORTS
The promotion of sports holds a significant position in the foundation's objective of enhancing human health. Our efforts are directed towards identifying children from underprivileged backgrounds such as Adivasi children, nomads, refugees, destitute, and street children, and motivating them to engage in a diverse range of sports. The ultimate aim is to provide them with the opportunity to participate in high-level competitions and reach their full potential. The foundation promotes various sports including cricket, football, basketball, karate, and Kalari, etc……
PLANTATION
Encouraging plantation is imperative, especially in our urban areas where vacant government plots and private plots abound. Planting trees in these empty spaces can contribute greatly to environmental sustainability and promote green spaces in cities. This endeavor can yield numerous benefits that impact various aspects of society, such as the economy, ecology, and overall quality of life. Through collaborations between the local government and volunteer organizations, various types of trees are being planted and taken care of in different areas across the country, including government, semi-government, and private plots.
INDUSTRY
Our approach involves tailoring our efforts towards individual villages, providing education on a variety of industries and equipping them with the resources necessary to launch their own businesses. We also establish a partnership with each community, remaining present throughout the entire process without any expectation of compensation.
ACCOMMODATION
Voluntary organizations and individuals have come together to provide complimentary accommodation facilities for the underprivileged, catering to diverse needs. To ease the academic pursuit of impoverished students, hostels have been established to offer them convenience and comfort during their academic and ancillary studies.
FOOD DELIVERY
The provision of food extends to various institutions such as hospitals, places of worship, and street food foundations. Our primary undertaking centers on the delivery of nourishment, highlighting its paramount importance.
EDUCATION
Education holds significant importance, especially for children living in poverty, who are granted access to academic opportunities. Moreover, a range of professional courses are also available to support learners in pursuing their career aspirations.
ENTERTAINMENT
The Anveshi Foundation is committed to delivering captivating and thought-provoking entertainment to its audience. The Anveshi Foundation endeavors to offer captivating and enriching entertainment that engages and captivates its audience while also providing instruction in the arts of dance and music for underprivileged children.
VEHICLE
The provision of vehicles, such as auto-rickshaws, to those in need was made possible through the training of taxi systems, which involved the identification of impoverished individuals. By identifying low-income individuals, auto-rickshaws and other taxi systems were established to provide the necessary mode of transportation. These systems were implemented by training individuals who were identified as economically disadvantaged and equipping them with the appropriate vehicle.
VILLAGES
The goal is to establish Anveshi villages with the intention of offering impoverished individuals a place to call home within each panchayat, numbered 7, 17, 27, 37, and beyond. The primary objective is to grant the underprivileged population the ownership of their own residences.. These villages will be equipped with various facilities, such as hospitals, shopping centers, auditoriums, and educational institutions.
CHILDREN HOME
The state government provides aid to children's homes within its jurisdiction by conducting regular visits and creating long-term education plans to address their needs. Additionally, they offer any necessary support to ensure their success.
ACCIDENT HELP
Individuals are carefully selected and provided with training to assist those affected by emergency situations such as earthquakes, floods, and accidents within various states, in order to provide aid and support to those in need.
EXPATRIATE ASSISTANCE
Providing legal assistance and accommodation assistance to people moving from one country to another or from one state to another is an important service that can make the transition much easier for the individuals involved. Those relocating often face numerous challenges, from navigating visa and immigration paperwork to finding suitable housing in their new location. Having access to knowledgeable legal counsel who can guide them through the complex bureaucratic processes, ensure proper documentation is filed, and represent their interests is invaluable. This takes a huge burden off of the person moving. Additionally, connecting newcomers with rental agents, realtors, and landlords who can help identify affordable and comfortable housing that meets their needs is hugely beneficial. With the stress of paperwork and finding a new home taken care of, those moving can focus their time and energy on other aspects of the transition like transferring schools, finding employment, learning the language and culture, and establishing community connections. Providing comprehensive relocation assistance allows for a much smoother adjustment period. The legal and accommodation support gives people confidence they have trusted experts on their side as they embark on starting over in a new place.
HELP DISABLED PEOPLE
Disabled people are also provided with necessary aids including wheelchairs. So far more than 1000 wheelchairs have been distributed. The wheelchairs serve as important mobility aids for disabled people who have difficulty walking or are unable to walk at all. The wheelchairs give them independence and freedom of movement, allowing them to get around, participate in daily activities, and engage with the community. The wheelchairs come in different styles to accommodate different needs and conditions - manual wheelchairs that are propelled by the user, power wheelchairs that are battery-powered, and even sports wheelchairs designed for athletic activities. Beyond basic transport, wheelchairs also provide health benefits like improved circulation and reduced risk of pressure sores. The distribution of over 1000 wheelchairs so far has greatly improved accessibility and quality of life for many disabled individuals. The wheelchairs open doors both literally and figuratively. With a wheelchair, disabled people can navigate physical spaces like schools, workplaces, and shops that would otherwise be off limits. This allows them to pursue education, employment, social connections and all aspects of community participation that make life meaningful. The freedom of mobility makes a profound difference in what disabled people are able to achieve.
OLD AGE HOME
By conducting studies in the states, necessary changes are made in the old age home and counseling is provided to those who need it. Financial assistance is provided where necessary. Old age homes are facilities that provide housing and care for senior citizens who require additional support in their advanced age. Conducting thorough studies and assessments of the conditions, programs, and overall effectiveness of these homes at the state level allows for identification of areas needing improvement. The findings from these comprehensive evaluations can inform positive changes to be implemented in old age homes, such as enhancing facilities, expanding services, updating protocols, and ensuring adequate staffing. With suggested changes in place, the quality of life for residents is improved. In addition, counseling services are made available to individual senior citizens living in these homes who are facing difficulties with the aging process, such as isolation, medical problems, grief, or other struggles. Counselors work closely with the seniors to provide emotional support, helpful coping strategies, and guidance during this often challenging life stage. Financial assistance is also granted to those living in old age homes who lack adequate monetary funds to cover expenses. This funding can be used for costs like medical bills, personal care supplies, or basic living needs. By keeping old age homes well-maintained, offering counseling, and providing financial help to those in need, studies at the state level allow steps to be taken that ultimately create a safe, supportive environment where seniors can thrive.
HOSPITAL
In various places, the poor are being treated in collaboration with private hospitals and various treatment camps are being conducted with the help of various hospitals. Eye, dental, ear, heart disease, cancer disease, amnesia disease, etc. We provide all the help we can. The plight of the poor and their lack of access to adequate healthcare is being addressed through compassionate partnerships between public health organizations and private hospitals. Treatment camps are set up in community centers, places of worship, schools, or outdoor tents to provide free or low-cost medical care to underserved populations. Teams of volunteer doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals donate their time and expertise to care for those in need. During these camps, the poor can receive screenings, exams, and treatment for conditions they otherwise could not afford. For example, ophthalmologists may provide free eye exams and prescription glasses to correct vision problems that severely limit people's daily functioning. Dentists perform cleanings, fillings, extractions, and fittings for dentures to alleviate dental pain and infection. Ear, nose and throat specialists treat chronic ear infections and hearing loss to improve communication abilities. More serious illnesses like heart disease, cancer, dementia, and other chronic diseases can be detected through screenings and then treated through partnerships with hospitals to provide surgery, chemotherapy, medical devices, therapy, or other interventions to save and extend lives. By collaborating across public and private sectors, those living in poverty can access the quality care they deserve and regain health and dignity.
LIVELIHOODS
Helping the poor with jobs such as shoemaking, cow husbandry, street peddling, cloth weaving etc. can provide meaningful employment and economic stability to underprivileged communities. Rather than simply donating money or goods, equipping impoverished individuals with practical vocational skills empowers them to become self-sufficient. For example, teaching basic shoemaking enables people to craft durable footwear to meet local needs. Cow husbandry allows families to sustainably produce nutritious dairy products. Street peddling and cloth weaving furnish creative outlets for artisans to generate income through selling their handmade wares. Tailoring training programs sew hope into the lives of struggling women seeking to provide for their families. By patiently transferring simple, useful talents to those in need, we can set them on new paths of purpose and productivity. The dignity of meaningful work is truly restorative. Investing dedicated time and care into mentoring underprivileged workers lifts their spirits, sharpens their capacities, and sets them on the road towards stability and success.
